Job Summary
What will you be doing in this role?
šManage, install, configure systems, as well as write basic scripts if required, update, patch, monitor and maintain systems hosted by the client whether on premises or in the cloud. šPerform system maintenance through analysis of error logs, creating backups, and monitoring system performance to prevent crashes and slowdowns šProvide recommendations for infrastructure and architecture improvements to ensure systems remain secure and efficient. šInstall, configure and manage Linux OS applications, services and databases. šAssist with systems monitoring and troubleshooting, providing technical support, maintaining system security, and performing testing after patching, preferably through automation. šImplement policies and IT Strategy, taking remediation actions as documented in security assessment reports. šProactively maintain and develop Linux infrastructure. Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments. šNetworks administration, engineering and architecture šBasic knowledge and professional experience in networking, engineering and secure architecture are required for networks administration
Requirements
What will you be bringing to the team? šHave at least a Bachelorās Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent šPosses a RHCE certification (Red Hat Certified Engineer) šAt least 5 years of professional experience and expertise in in infrastructure management, network management, facilities management, conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments šPrevious working experience of a minimum 5 years as a Linux Administrator šSystems administration (Linux) skills with emphasis on automation: Applications administration, Network administration, Project Management, Critical thinking, Time management, Problem solving and troubleshooting, Documentation and Reporting , Communication skills šHands on experience with automation, preferably utilizing Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform šWorking knowledge of Ansible, Ansible Tower, RH Satellite, RH-SSO, MySQL and MariaDB clusters šExtensive experience with RH-SSO/ Keycloak šProficiency in English language at a minimum B2 leve
