Job Summary
You Will Oversee:
šCash and Liquidity Management: Oversee daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational and strategic needs. Develop automation and process improvement strategies and leverage technology to support the company's growth. Lead Treasury Bitcoin operations. šTeam Management: Support the development of the existing team and hiring open positions including career development and succession planning along with cross-training and redundancy. šAsset Based Lending: Lead operations for our lending activities including warehouse lines of credit across multiple geographies and investor cash operations. šTreasury Banking Lead: Work cross-functionally to optimize the cost-of-capital, balance sources of financing for corporate purposes as well as product and lending needs - structuring, and executing financing arrangements. Implementation and management of Block's Irish Intercompany bank. šBanking Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other financial partners . Negotiate banking services and fees to optimize costs. Ensure seamless execution of banking transactions. šFinancial Planning and Reporting: Prepare and present treasury-related reports to executive leadership and the board.
You Have:
š12+ years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial management roles, within a fintech or financial services company. š5+ years of leadership experience managing teams of six or more employees, driving performance and team development. šBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred). šProfessional certifications such as CTP, CPA, or CFA šExperience in a banking role, consumer/business lending. šStrong knowledge of treasury management systems, financial modeling, and cash management tools. šProven experience in treasury operations, balance sheet optimization and risk mitigation strategies. šAbility to work collaboratively across departments and lead cross-functional projects.
