Job Summary
What You’ll Do
📍Drive technical accounting policies and reporting for all products and services offered by Ramp 📍Lead technical accounting discussions with auditors, advisors, and internal stakeholders to support product launches, preparation and review of accounting positions, policies and financial statements 📍Research the accounting and disclosure requirements of proposed accounting standards and transactions with external parties, considering the relevant accounting literature and the effect of the transaction on the company’s financial documents 📍Update and maintain internal control policies and procedures and provide supporting documentation to auditors regarding completion of control procedures 📍Assist with month-end close activities, including the preparation and/or review of accounting reconciliations and transactions 📍Mentor and coach team members, collaborate with Engineering and 📍Data teams to create automated reports to improve the close process 📍Assist in aspects of tax compliance and tax reporting for sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax 📍Work closely with our tax consultants to ensure accurate and timely filings 📍Other ad-hoc accounting-related tasks and requests
What You Need
📍Active CPA license required 📍5+ years of external audit, accounting, and/or advisory at Big 4 - Manager level 📍Experienced working in a fast paced growing private or public company in Fintech 📍Must be a highly organized, meticulous self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment 📍Education or comparable professional experience in Accounting or related field
