Job Summary

Ripple Information Security is growing and we are looking for an experienced professional with a combination of strong technical skills, Infosec strategy/execution, and business operations/program management experience to partner with Infosec leadership in leading and organizing the Infrastructure Security function. This is a hands-on technical role, serving as a partner to all engineering leaders and teams to mature the Infrastructure Security function. This role will drive initiatives by creating streamlined processes, communicating consistently and frequently, building trust across the organization, and prioritizing areas for investment. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to the Infrastructure Security team, ensuring they are as efficient and effective as possible.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Lead initiatives with teams across Ripple to continually improve our security posture and ensure our information security objectives are being met Co-create and help articulate Infrastructure Security strategy across the company Help solve tech problems with urgency by helping teams reach consensus by asking the right questions and offering solutions Develop strong partnerships and feedback loops with leaders and stakeholders across the organization Lead with data and promote a culture of metrics-driven decision-making. Create dashboards to measure security program performance in key areas over time Own and drive OKRs across the Infrastructure Security function and ensure our assurance processes are continually improving Provide regular program strategy and performance updates Evangelize a positive security culture across the organization

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

8+ years of experience, ideally from an information security, enterprise technology, or technical consulting background

Strong technical understanding of one or more of the following domains: Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, Threat and Vulnerability Management, and Network Security

General understanding of public cloud technologies (AWS and GCP)

Diligent and extremely organized with strong attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile culture—someone who embraces and leads through change and ambiguity

Outstanding at building relationships and collaborating with peers, senior leaders, and cross-functionally to produce not only great results but also great experiences doing the work

Strong strategic thinker who applies creativity to problem solving, and handily takes a big idea from thought through to execution
