Job Summary
What You'll Be Doing
šDrive the technical vision for the Solutions team, aligning with Pagoda's overall strategic goals. šOversee the design and evolution of the technical architecture for critical features and solutions across the NEAR Protocol stack. šLead the team in tackling complex technical challenges, fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving. šParticipate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to security best practices. šRecruit, mentor, and develop a team of high-performing engineers, providing guidance and opportunities for growth. šSet clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement. šFoster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication, knowledge sharing, and teamwork within the Solutions team and across the organization. šDefine project scope, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities. šDrive the successful execution of projects, managing dependencies, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and solutions. šTrack and report on key performance indicators, including project progress, team productivity, and impact on the NEAR ecosystem. šCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, understand user needs, and identify opportunities for growth and innovation. šContribute to the development of the product roadmap, aligning engineering efforts with the long-term vision for the NEAR ecosystem. šCommunicate effectively with senior leadership, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
What We're Looking For
šA minimum of 5+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams, ideally in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. šDemonstrated success in hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams. šDeep understanding of software development principles, architectures, and best practices. šHands-on experience with systems-level languages like Rust (preferred) or similar low-level languages (C, C++, Go). šAbility to develop and execute a technical vision that aligns with broader business goals. šComfortable making high-level architectural decisions and guiding technical roadmaps. šProven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. šExperienced in fostering collaboration and building strong relationships with product managers, executives, and other cross-functional teams. šTrack record of delivering high-quality products and services on time and within budget.
