Job Summary
WHAT YOU WILL DO
šCo-manage and mentor a team of highly skilled engineers on the Platform Engineering Group (PEG) across multiple specialized subteams šCollaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define and execute the roadmap šEnsure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure blockchain solutions šFoster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence šManage project timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple complex workstreams šManage OKRs/KPIs, and develop strategies and standards for excellence šInterface and collaborate with Senior Executives and the C-Suite ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive organizational change where necessary šStay abreast of the latest developments in blockchain technology and distributed systems šContribute to the broader blockchain community through technical talks and thought leadership
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
š8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role šDeep understanding of blockchain technology, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography šStrong background in distributed systems and peer-to-peer networks šProven track record of leading and growing high-performing engineering teams šExperience with Golang and/or Rust programming languages šSolid understanding of software development best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and code review processes šExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical challenges šStrong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
