Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
šDesign and implement ETL pipelines to transform raw data into clean, structured datasets. šOptimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) for low latency and high availability. šWork with SQL/NoSQL databases to ensure efficient querying, indexing, and performance. šBuild automated data validation, cleansing, and enrichment routines to ensure data quality. šIntegrate machine learning models into production pipelines, ensuring accurate and consistent inference. šCollaborate with the Principal Software Engineer and product teams to align data systems with project goals.
What Weāre Looking For
šMust be based in Montreal, Canada. šStartup readinessāflexibility, initiative, and a strong work ethic. This is more than a job; itās an opportunity to build something impactful. š5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on ETL workflows and database optimization. šStrong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript. šExpertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and familiarity with tools like Apache Airflow or Step Functions. šExperience with data ingestion frameworks (Apache Kafka) and machine learning integration is a plus. šBasic understanding of DeFi concepts and Web3 data to contextualize your work.
