Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
šSupport development and review of marketing and advertising copy and content from concept through execution.
šPerform legal and regulatory compliance risk assessments, propose creative solutions where applicable, and help advance business objectives.
šManage a global marketing legal team. Mentor and develop team members.
šManage escalations, collaborate across other teams and develop solutions to enable business partners to achieve their goals.
šDevelop a strong rapport and working relationship with business counterparts across the enterprise to help drive the delivery of effective legal services.
šEstablish efficient, scalable review processes and procedures.
Qualifications
šJuris Doctor from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association. šAdmitted to, and in good standing with, a state bar. š15+ years of marketing legal experience either at a law firm or in-house, preferably a combination of both, advising marketing professionals on advertising and promotional marketing matters. 5+ years of experience in advising marketing professionals in the financial services/fintech space is required. šExpertise in risk management, compliance, and regulatory frameworks as they relate to marketing and advertising. šSkilled at identifying issues, providing risk-based recommendations, and contributing to strategic business conversations in a fast-paced environment. šExperience navigating complex legal issues around digital marketing, social media, and emerging technologies.
