Responsibilities

šŸ“Our crypto wallet is used by millions of people to access apps and financial services built on the Solana blockchain. As a DevOps Engineer (App Release Management), you'll focus on building robust CI/CD pipelines and managing the lifecycle of application releases across mobile and web platforms. Your role will prioritize reliable, repeatable deployments and infrastructure optimization, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of our applications. šŸ“This role is remote; however, we’re only open to candidates based in US timezone šŸ“CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. Implement automated build, test, and release processes using modern DevOps tools. šŸ“Release Coordination: Define and manage release cadences (weekly, bi-weekly). Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth deployment cycles. Establish clear deployment criteria and manage go/no-go decisions. šŸ“Build & Version Management: Maintain semantic versioning practices. Manage release branches, hot-fixes, and ensure build reproducibility. šŸ“Platform-Specific Deployment: Automate and streamline deployments for: iOS: Xcode, App Store Connect, TestFlight. Android: Android Studio, Google Play Console. Web Extensions: Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons šŸ“Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting deployments. Monitor infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security. šŸ“Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement effective monitoring and alerting solutions. Track deployment health metrics and respond promptly to incidents. šŸ“Quality Assurance & Automation: Establish and enhance QA processes, ensuring adherence to industry-accepted best practices. Drive test automation for product releases, creating efficient test plans and automation scripts integrated into the CI/CD pipeline. Perform and guide performance, stress, and end-to-end testing. šŸ“Compliance & Guidelines: Ensure compliance with platform-specific policies (e.g., Apple’s App Store Guidelines, Google’s Developer Policies). Uphold accessibility standards and manage age ratings and content descriptors. šŸ“Monitoring & Feedback: Track key metrics such as crash rates and user feedback post-release. Monitor app store reviews and ratings, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

šŸ“5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on app release management. šŸ“Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications for mobile (iOS, Android) and web platforms. šŸ“Strong experience with automation and infrastructure tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. šŸ“Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) to automate deployment tasks. šŸ“Solid understanding of build reproducibility, semantic versioning, and branching strategies.
