Role Overview We are recruiting a mid-level Quality Assurance Engineer who will become an integral part of one of our Product teams and support them in all activities related to development; refinement, tests, releases and monitoring.
We are looking for a person who will be actively participating in the development process and who knows the value of asking relevant questions to developers which results in a higher quality of produced software. QA Engineer is not the only person who performs testing at Ramp, he/she suppose to be an expert in that domain and help the team to follow the right direction.
This is a full-time role, reporting to our QA Lead. You can work remotely or from one of our offices in Warsaw or Wroclaw.
Your future work will include
building relationships and cooperating closely with the development team, being involved in every phase of the software development lifecycle (from gathering requirements to monitoring production) to ensure the team produce valuable and quality solutions, researching and introducing appropriate QA-related tools and standards across the organization, driving the right QA mindset across the development team to speed up the development process and increase its quality.
Requirements What we are looking for in candidate
familiarity with Cypress (we use TypeScript), the right mindset, you are aware that QA is not about testing, it is about driving the right approach in software development, you value and appreciate teamwork and you are able to effectively cooperate with the Software Engineers, strong communication skills, you articulate clearly, high-level assertiveness, you don’t shy away from defending your arguments, fluency in English which allows you to communicate confidently with others.
