Job Summary
Responsibilities
📍Requirements Gathering & Documentation 📍Identify core needs through user/stakeholder discussions, then draft concise feature requirements for engineering and design teams 📍Market & Competitive Research 📍Investigate AI product trends, analyze competitor offerings, and compile briefings on market gaps or opportunities to inform product 📍Product Teardowns & Analysis 📍Examine competitor or reference AI products, dissect user flows, and highlight insights (e.g., design best practices, feature gaps, unique approaches) 📍Turning Product Feedback Into Action Items 📍Collect user feedback (e.g., testing notes, support tickets) and transform it into actionable tasks, ensuring the development backlog reflects real needs 📍Product Planning & Roadmapping 📍Help build feature roadmaps or sprint plans, coordinate release timelines, and keep cross-functional teams aligned on upcoming milestones 📍Project Management & Technical Triage 📍Track bugs, feature requests, and QA items; route them to the correct teams, and assist in prioritizing critical issues to maintain development momentum
Basic Qualifications
📍Currently Enrolled or Completed 📍A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field 📍Foundational AI Knowledge 📍Some exposure to machine learning concepts (via coursework, projects, or side hobbies) 📍Analytical Mindset 📍Comfortable working with data (spreadsheets or basic Python) to draw insights and inform decisions 📍Basic Product & UX Sense 📍Familiarity with user research, feature definition, or design thinking from past projects or extracurriculars 📍Teamwork & Communication 📍Experience collaborating in student orgs, labs, or group assignments; able to present ideas to both technical and non-technical peers. Excellent written and oral English skills 📍Self-Starter Mentality 📍Organized, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic AI-focused environment
