Job Summary
The Opportunity
šLeading a team of brilliant individuals responsible for low latency market data connectivity as well as the backbone of 95% of overall data transfer in the company. You will be heavily involved in: šDesigning the high level system architecture covering data dissemination across the globe. šSqueezing the last cycles and bits of cache out of CPUs feeding our low latency trading strategies. šImproving data encoding decreasing shared memory footprint and saving bandwidth of our fast network lines. šOptimizing connectivity to the existing venues leveraging trading systems and outcompeting others in the race. šProviding connectivity to new venues widening our market coverage. šPrioritization of your team work among overall company work items. šDevelopment and growth of Engineering team members.
Who you are
šOur ideal candidate will have: šStrong communication and leadership skills. šStrong critical thinking foreseeing design flaws and potential issues. šStrong market data knowledge (tradfi works, but crypto experience is highly desirable). šStrong network programming skills including kernel bypass techniques. Knowledge about network protocols (Websockets/HTTP/TCP/UDP/IP). šStrong low level C++ skills. šStrong inter-thread/process communication skills. Lockless shared memory data structures knowledge.
