Job Summary
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
šLiaison with the Officer of Relations with the Ministry of Finance to ensure appropriate reports concerning the company as well as ensure that the company is abiding by all rules and regulations applicable to the sector. šLiaison with all other officer specially concerning the rules in force issued by the regulatory bodies and the gaming authority (Ministry of Finance/SPA). šAct as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies during inspections, audits, and inquiries and respond to regulatory inquiries and manage compliance-related communications, specially concerning the gaming authority (Ministry of Finance/SPA). šMonitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards relevant to the sector, especially those rules issued by the gaming authority (Ministry of Finance/SPA). šDevelop, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures, as well as ensure that policies reflect current legislation in force and best practices and that such rules are effectively communicated to employees. šConduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with external regulations and internal policies, whenever applicable. šCreate and maintain a risk assessment framework to evaluate compliance risks. šDesign and implement training programs for employees on compliance-related topics and promote a culture of compliance within the organization through awareness initiatives. šEnsure the policies and delivery of work are accurately implemented and followed to demonstrate regulatory compliance. šWork closely (showing flexibility, strong communication skills and being a teammate) with the business verticals to ensure full support in launching new products/features/promotions in compliant manner. šCo-ordinate compliance in relation to products, strategies and operational processes and procedures, working with partners and management. šSupport the development and implementation of an effective legal compliance program. šProvide support on the AML monitoring and mandatory reports. šMonitor the regulator's requirements and liaise with the different departments to provide answers to the regulator. šProactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses. šEvaluate business activities to assess compliance risk. šCollaborate with external and internal auditors when needed. šSupport on the implementation of plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation. šAddress employee concerns or questions on compliance. šSupport on the license application process. šContractual drafting, reviewing and negotiating including: Non-disclosures agreements, software licenses & data processing agreements. šUsing standard contract templates to prepare/agree other agreements (e.g. Service Terms and Conditions, subcontracts, consultancy, agency, and reseller agreement). šAmendments to/extension of existing agreements. šProvide day to day legal advice on legal matters related to the operation of the Company.
Requirements Desirable skills:
šDesirable Sports & online gambling 3 yearās experience. šMust be proficient in English and have excellent comms skills, both written and verbal. Law Degree. šMinimum of 10 yearsā experience working in compliance/regulatory/auditing function. šExperience conducting investigations and/or auditing using computer systems. šExperience of working with regulators, external auditors, and inspectors. šExperience of interpreting and applying legislation or regulation within a company context. šExperience in compiling information for regulatory returns. šMotivated, hardworking, able to manage self and other tasks to meet required deadlines. šProficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Air table & Intercom.
