Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šManage Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in the crypto industry šReview, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), service agreements, and commercial contracts šProvide legal support and coverage for our Northern Hemisphere team, addressing time-sensitive matters across different time zones šProvide advice on crypto-related regulations and emerging legal issues in the digital asset space šAssist in developing and implementing internal legal policies and procedures šCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and technology, to address legal concerns and mitigate risks šMonitor and analyse regulatory developments in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry šSupport the company's compliance efforts with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations
Our ideal candidate will have:
šLaw degree from a reputable institution š2-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably gained in a multi-national organisation, trading, or financial services sectors šExperience with KYC/KYB processes and compliance requirements in the financial services industry šExcellent contract drafting and negotiation skills šStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities šAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment šExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal šGood initiative and personal resilience to manage the ups and downs of fast paced deal teams
