Job Summary
Responsibilities
šProvide strategic and pragmatic legal advice to product, engineering, marketing, and go-to-market teams on new and existing products and features. šEnsure Kilnās staking and DeFi offerings meet all applicable legal and regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions (APAC, Middle East, EU). šStay current on blockchain regulations, financial services frameworks, and public policy developments. Advise internal stakeholders on their potential impact on product design and business strategy. šDevelop close working relationships with cross-functional teams and maintain a strong understanding of product and protocol-level developments. šDraft and maintain key legal documentation, including product terms of use, user disclosures, privacy notices, and policy frameworks. šCollaborate cross-functionally to design scalable internal processes for integrating legal review and risk assessment into product development cycles. šSupport the structuring and launch of innovative product features and go-to-market strategies while identifying and mitigating associated legal and regulatory risks. šProvide commercially sound legal advice on a wide range of matters including commercial contracts, IP, data protection, and corporate initiatives (e.g. grants, investments).
Requirements
š5+ years of legal experience, with a strong focus on digital assets, fintech, or financial services. šExperience in advising on blockchain technology, staking, DeFi, and token-related matters. šFamiliarity with global regulatory frameworks impacting digital assets. šStrong negotiation and contract drafting skills. šExperience working closely with product and engineering teams in a legal advisory capacity. šAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment. šA proactive approach to identifying and mitigating regulatory and legal risks in emerging markets. šAlready based in APAC, DubaĆÆ or Emirates.
