Job Summary
Responsibilities
šLead the activities of risk management research, including developing new risk management approaches, analytical models and deep analyses šLead the calculation, analysis, and reporting of net asset values/Profit & Loss for asset management funds and proprietary trading funds. šPrepare the company for a more regulated cryptocurrency environment with tougher rules šReview and reconcile daily trade and cash ledgers. šActively manage the firmās risk exposures through working closely with multiple trading teams internally and communicating closely with external exchanges/financial institutions
Requirements
š5 years+ of experience as a risk management or a portfolio management role šDetailed understanding of equities risk management, portfolio construction and trading šExpert knowledge of quantitative finance and statistical programming with familiarity with SQL and Python šIntellectual curiosity and depth of skills enabling him/her to perform ad-hoc tasks and special projects, strong problem solving and analytical mindset šAbility to lead a team and work cooperatively with all levels of staff šAbility to influence and communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with team members and business stakeholders up, down and across the organization. šAbility to generate creative ideas, solve problems, and take ideas all the way to commercial implementation š A commitment to the highest ethical standards and to act with professionalism and integrity
