Job Summary

Your core responsibilities

📍Run a smooth MO operation with a team of 3, ensuring reliable service. 📍Develop and maintain knowledge of Middle Office processes and systems, as well as financial products. 📍Provide support and subject matter expertise to trading and other internal teams to effectively complete daily workflows such as reconciliations, reporting and resolve outstanding issues. 📍Work closely with trading, developers, risk, compliance and business dev teams to onboard new strategies. Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of new initiatives. 📍Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve any operational issues or challenges. Take necessary actions to resolve issues and improve efficiency. 📍Analyse existing middle office processes and identify areas for improvement. Develop and propose better practices to enhance operational efficiency, risk management, and compliance. 📍Take the lead in projects aimed at automating reporting processes and facilitating trading activities. Collaborate with technology teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that streamline operations and improve productivity.

Your skills and experience

📍Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, CPA) are a plus. 📍7+ years of experience in financial operations, preferably in an investment bank, trading firm or asset management company. 📍Strong knowledge of financial products. 📍Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 📍Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 📍Strong communication skills. 📍Ability to multitask and work under pressure. 📍Experience in process improvement and automation projects is desirable. 📍Knowledge of programming language like SQL, Python is desirable.
