While the development of our GoArt project continues rapidly, we are starting a new AA PC/Console game. Our project, is going to be published by a large media organization. We have a team that has been working together for a long time, has a common climate and a development language. Job Summary
Your Role
šAs Head of Backend Development, you will: šTake full ownership of backend teams, structures, and engineering operations šLead, mentor, and grow backend engineering teams with a strong people-first approach šBuild a high-performance culture focused on quality, scalability, and delivery šOversee technical execution, resource planning, and team capacity management šEnsure smooth backend operations, code quality, and architectural consistency šCollaborate with senior stakeholders to align backend strategy with business goals šOwn and improve delivery KPIs such as velocity, stability, incident response, and team satisfaction šDrive backend team hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes šRepresent backend engineering in leadership meetings and strategic planning
What Weāre Looking For
š 15+ years of professional experience in backend software development (preferably in .NET technologies) š5+ years of leadership experience managing backend engineering teams at scale šHigh Learning Agility capacity, šDeep understanding of backend architectures, including microservices, APIs, and distributed systems šPrior experience in the banking or fintech industry is strongly preferred šExcellent people management, coaching, and organizational design capabilities šHands-on experience with agile methodologies and engineering delivery frameworks šAbility to balance technical depth with operational and people leadership šStrong communication skills in English, both written and verbal šProven success in managing backend operations in fast-paced, high-growth environments
