What you’ll be working on:

📍Licensing Applications: Oversee and manage the process of obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses for operating within various jurisdictions. 📍Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company's operations comply with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to digital assets and cryptocurrencies. 📍Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents to protect the company's interests. 📍Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the company's operations and new business ventures. 📍Corporate Governance: Advise senior management and the board of directors on corporate governance and legal implications of strategic decisions. 📍External Relations: Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies. 📍Training and Development: Provide training to staff on legal issues and regulatory requirements.

About you:

📍Education: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution. 📍Experience: Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with significant experience in the cryptocurrency or financial services industry. 📍Licensing Expertise: Proven track record in leading licensing applications for financial or digital asset companies. 📍Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the digital asset space. 📍Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
