Who are you?
Our Strategy Directors are tasked with leading Web3 strategy for their clients by combining an understanding of consumer behavior, marketing challenges, and the commercial opportunity of the Web3/NFT landscape into a strategic and clear plan of action. They are the strategic advisor to our clients when it comes to their business and how traditional corporations should enter the Web3 space with long-term thinking. They can articulate the "where we've been" and "where we're going" to senior executives while also understanding and being part of the ethos of crypto culture. We are a human centric, culture obsessed discipline where we dive deep into audience insights, media trends, cultural shifts, and tech innovations that inform our strategic recommendations. Our team is collectively redefining and modernizing the way our clients harness consumer and cultural intelligence, develop brand strategy and plan for attention.
The Strategy Director is expected to be a servant leader, both coaching and mentoring junior team members but not afraid to get their hands dirty with research, analysis, and deliverable creation. This is a full-time role based in NY, FL, or CHI.
The ideal candidate has:
7-10 years strategically of relevant work experience including time at a top tier management consultancy, investment bank or private equity firm, with a professional or personal background in crypto / Web3 Well versed with the ability to leverage insights tools, research and platforms to drive data-driven business recommendations Facilitating brainstorms, workshops and ideation sessions that drive greater creativity and innovation. Be an ambassador in the development of new insights, audience segmentation and cultural analysis that will build clients' businesses. Deep understanding of crypto and NFT market fundamentals and a history of following and participating in the space Dazzling presentation skills, presence in a room, and a deep portfolio of 'rockstar slides' People management experience and a demonstrated track record of coaching and mentoring small teams Ability to break down complex and unstructured client asks to create clarity from complexity, especially in emerging markets Independent delivery skills on all tasks, with an openness to feedback, to achieve results at pace with energy and drive Experience leading collaboration sessions with cross-functional teams across marketing, creative, technology, and operations Entrepreneurial initiative and experience in highlighting new ideas to the team and external stakeholders when appropriate Logical thought process, even under pressure, balanced with creativity to come up with innovative solutions to problems Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities, discerning a clear path forward and acting upon them swiftly.
