Rome Protocol is building a shared sequencer network leveraging Solana. Shared sequencers solve the biggest problems for Ethereum’s rollup-centric future. Using Solana as a shared sequencer leverages a well-tested, secure, and high throughput network to solve these problems. We are building a shared sequencer that can be integrated with any Ethereum based rollups. It is intended to be used for thousands of rollups. We work in person from our Los Angeles and New York offices, and are remote friendly.

Skills and Experience
📍BSc or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field 📍MSc/PhD or equivalent can be an added advantage 📍Must have a strong technical background 📍Proven experience as a CTO or role that would lead to qualifications for a CTO position 📍Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy 📍Ability to conduct technological analyses and research 📍Strong communication skills 📍Leadership and organizational abilities 📍Strategic thinking 📍Problem-solving aptitude and willingness to be hands-on when required 📍Experience within the blockchain/cryptocurrency space is a big plus
