Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šAssist in the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS. šOversee and review consolidation entries, ensuring accuracy and proper elimination of intercompany transactions. šPerform and review balance sheet reconciliations related to consolidation (e.g., intercompany balances, investments in subsidiaries, etc.). šPrepare group-level reports and analyses, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights to management. šAssist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for the group audit. šCollaborate with subsidiary accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data. šUndertake special projects and ad hoc analyses as required by senior management or business needs.
Requirements:
šBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred. šProfessional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is highly preferred. šMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with experience in group reporting or consolidation preferred. šExperience in audit is a plus. šStrong understanding of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting principles. šExperience with accounting systems; experience with NetSuite is highly desirable. šAdvanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). šStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. šExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. šAbility to work independently and as part of a team. šDetail-oriented and organised.
