Job Summary

Responsibilities:

šŸ“Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS. šŸ“Oversee and review consolidation entries, ensuring accuracy and proper elimination of intercompany transactions. šŸ“Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations related to consolidation (e.g., intercompany balances, investments in subsidiaries, etc.). šŸ“Prepare group-level reports and analyses, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights to management. šŸ“Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for the group audit. šŸ“Collaborate with subsidiary accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data. šŸ“Undertake special projects and ad hoc analyses as required by senior management or business needs.

Requirements:

šŸ“Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred. šŸ“Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is highly preferred. šŸ“Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with experience in group reporting or consolidation preferred. šŸ“Experience in audit is a plus. šŸ“Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting principles. šŸ“Experience with accounting systems; experience with NetSuite is highly desirable. šŸ“Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). šŸ“Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. šŸ“Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. šŸ“Ability to work independently and as part of a team. šŸ“Detail-oriented and organised.
