Job Description:

šŸ“The on-site Lab Support person will provide lab desktop/laptop, server, network support in R&D environment. šŸ“This includes supporting R&D remote offices in United States. šŸ“The lab support will respond to user's telephone calls, walk-up and/or e-mail messages regarding computer software or hardware problems and resolve the problem. šŸ“The Lab Support person will also repairs, installs and modifies computer software and hardware at sites users are located which may include IT equipment and services in conference rooms. šŸ“As a member of the Lab Support team you will be required to participate in a rotating on-call team for after-hours and weekend/holiday support team which could include having to show-up on-site to after-hours and weekend/holiday to respond to IT Service Delivery issues.

Essential Job Duties:

šŸ“Install and configure PCā€™s, Linux and Macā€™s, printers and peripherals within established standards and guidelines šŸ“Install new hardware and software upgrades requested from users šŸ“Manage R&D lab assets using RFTrack asset system šŸ“Analyze and solve technical problems by using problem-solving skills šŸ“Conduct analysis and troubleshooting via telephone, email and using remote assistance šŸ“Resolve technical problems with computing equipment and software šŸ“Provide on-site technical support and end-user technical training at assigned sites which may include travel to remote sites šŸ“Create and update Microsoft-based OS and Linux Image šŸ“Provide technical support for IT services in conference rooms šŸ“Assist employees in company events, such as exhibits and show case development product šŸ“Install and perform maintenance on proprietary system/s šŸ“May be asked to lead Projects and/or technology evaluations and make recommendations to Management team šŸ“Able to travel up to 20% to remote offices
