Job Summary
Responsibilities
📍Client Acquisition: 📍Leverage your network of institutional clients, HNWIs, and counterparties to onboard new clients and drive OTC trading flow. 📍Actively target and onboard new clients, focusing on driving OTC trading flow and expanding market share. 📍Build, nurture, and retain long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and sustainable growth. 📍Market Strategy and Deal Flow: 📍Execute and manage OTC trades, including transactions in both liquid and illiquid cryptocurrency markets. 📍Structure and negotiate bespoke trading solutions to meet client needs, particularly in complex or non-standard transactions. 📍Identify and capitalize on opportunities in markets, providing clients with unique access and insights. 📍Collaborate with the trading desk to identify and capture trading opportunities while managing risk effectively. 📍Collaboration & Growth: 📍Stay ahead of cryptocurrency market trends, regulatory developments, and technical advancements to inform trading strategies and client recommendations. 📍Collaborate with sales & BD, client management, trading, compliance, and operational teams to ensure smooth execution, settlement of OTC transactions, reporting, and operational excellence. 📍Contribute to the development of business strategies aimed at expanding the OTC trading desk’s footprint in the market.
Requirements
📍Minimum 3-5 years of experience in OTC trading, sales trading, or client relationship management in the cryptocurrency or financial services industry. 📍Demonstrated ability to bring in business and generate revenue by leveraging a deep, established network of institutional clients and HNWIs. 📍Experience in structuring and closing complex trading deals, including block trades and structured transactions. 📍Exceptional ability to build, nurture, and retain long-term client relationships. 📍Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with a client-centric mindset. 📍In-depth knowledge of digital assets, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrency market structures. 📍Ability to analyze market trends and provide clients with insightful, actionable ideas and strategies. 📍Familiarity with trading platforms and tools; proficiency in Python, R, or SQL is a plus. 📍Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. 📍Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin) is an advantage.
