Job Summary
Responsibilities
šDesign, development, maintenance and support of fault-tolerant, containerised distributed systems of microservices in the Trading Data space, such as market data feed handlers, data warehouse feed/read systems and the like. šImplementation of new features/systems within greenfield and brownfield projects šEvaluation of new technologies šCollaboration with peers, internal and external users on technical design and direction
Qualifications
šHave a Computer Science/Engineering degree š3+ years of writing Java components in a distributed fault tolerant environment. Integration with data sources, such as relational databases and messaging middleware. Spring šRest services, to extract/insert data from databases šExperience in the finance industry šAn interest in the crypto trading space šStrong engineering skill set with firm grasp of fundamental Computer Science principles and a test-driven approach to software development with a high degree of automation šWork in a Linux/containerised environment and have experience tuning it šCollaborate across time zones/team boundaries to engineer best possible outcome
