Job Summary
In this role, you will:
šReview complex revenue arrangements to identify key terms and conditions that impact revenue recognition and deploy accounting for these transactions for month-end and quarter-end in a scalable manner. šDesign and implement systems and processes to automate revenue recognition in alignment with revenue recognition policies and objectives. šPartner with the Deal Desk, Go-to-Market, and Strategic Finance teams to standardize and automate deal approvals to optimize revenue recognition while supporting sales initiatives. šAssist with the external audit process and participate in and/or lead ad hoc projects and initiatives with cross functional impacts.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
š7+ years of comprehensive experience in accounting, including technical revenue experience. šPrior experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm in a managerial role. šExperience with both public and hyper-growth private SaaS companies. šIn-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and experience applying revenue recognition principles in complex SaaS or technology arrangements. šExperience in implementing a revenue management software tool (e.g. Zuora Revenue, NetSuite ARM) for revenue recognition automation. šDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate to both finance and non-finance stakeholders and have managed and supported high-velocity, cross-functional teams on impactful projects.
