Job Summary

Responsibilities:

šŸ“Collaborate with cross functional teams across Shift4 such as finance, supply chain, sales, legal, and marketing and to understand existing and future needs to related to Shift4ā€™s supply chain operations šŸ“Drive technical decision making using First Principles thinking; challenge stakeholders to remove parts throughout the technical design phase to keep with our goals of efficiency and maximum productivity šŸ“Develop and maintain all relevant documentation such as process workflows, technical specifications / designs, requirements, etc. šŸ“Serve as a voice of guidance throughout the build / configuration process; provide oversight during testing / QA to ensure product alignment with architecture designs and goals šŸ“Present to senior executives on solution design, product vision, and delivery roadmap as needed šŸ“Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs with various systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and smooth workflow šŸ“Conduct thorough testing and debugging of APIs to ensure reliability, performance, and adherence to specifications. šŸ“Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables šŸ“Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions šŸ“Work cross-functionally to identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the development lifecycle šŸ“Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices

Minimum Qualifications:

šŸ“Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus. šŸ“7+ years of experience working as a Technical Architect or a similar role focused on API development and integration. šŸ“5+ years of experience working with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, R, C/C++, etc. šŸ“Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues šŸ“Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders šŸ“Proven hands-on experience and knowledge of current software development, cloud, and security technologies šŸ“Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
