Job Summary
WHAT YOU WILL DO
šAs a Systems Engineer, you are responsible for managing and maintaining our internal and remote systems, cloud providers, and security infrastructure under the general guidance of the IT Director. You will be a crucial contributor to the IT Operations team responsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining high-level systems, cloud configurations, security, and planning for and responding to service outages and other problems. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to: š Systems Administration šTroubleshooting Windows/Linux/Mac technologies and complex problems with servers and systems. šDeploying new systems into various infrastructures. šResponding to and troubleshooting problems and outages. šMaintaining system security, utilizing monitoring tools and support services. šResearching and making recommendations for future upgrades. šCloud Systems Administration šTroubleshooting AWS, Azure, and GCP deployments. šTranslating requirements into viable solutions for Blockchains and customers. šMaintaining system security, utilizing monitoring tools and support services for all cloud services šMaintaining current knowledge of new cloud technologies. šEnsuring a cohesive system's topology and providing documentation and process documentation.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
šTo ensure success, you have expertise in systems engineering, including design, monitoring, and implementation of a high-level security infrastructure and cloud provider configuration and support of Azure, AWS, and GCP. You have a strong understanding of VLANS, LANs, WANs, firewalls, access policies, VPNs, and encryption technologies. You have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with executives. You are fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. You have a proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, agile environment. You are proficient in MS Office Suite, Windows, Azure, AWS, GCP ā Linux, and Android/iOS are a plus. You are proactive in problem-solving and decision-making skills and have solid experience with Macs and Apple products. You have reliable transportation and a valid driverās license. Fieldwork will be required as needed.
