Job Summary
What you will be doing:
šDrive quality initiatives to improve Circleās system availability and reliability šHelp with peer review on code changes and test cases Isolate issues and report to the issue tracking system šVerify bug fixes and prevent regression bugs by creating quality tools and detecting early šTest web applications and underlying services, API services, and mobile apps (iOS and Android) šParticipate in designing and building testing processes and test frameworks šPlan, develop/maintain automated UI and/or API tests šDevelop test tools and programs to fulfill internal needs šGive internal knowledge sharing on technical topics šMentor new hires and junior engineers
What you should have (not all required):
šStaff Software Engineer, Quality (IV) š7+ years of experience in software testing šBachelorās (or higher) degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field šProficiency in writing clean and maintainable code in TypeScript or JavaScript šExpertise in API/UI automation testing šStrong understanding of and ability to utilize automation frameworks šFamiliarity with Linux/macOS operations šKnowledge of network protocols like HTTP and RESTful APIs šExperience with CI/CD practices, particularly using GitHub Actions
