Job Summary
The opportunity
šLead and Grow the Kraken Prime Platform: Oversee all aspects of the Prime product, including strategy development, business development, execution, and risk management, all while ensuring the platform is positioned for long-term success. šInnovate and Lead on Trading Infrastructure: Collaborate with tech teams to optimize and innovate the electronic trading infrastructure, from pricing engines to execution. šCross-Desk Collaboration: Work closely with other trading desks (spot, OTC, etc.) to align strategies, enhance liquidity, and drive synergies within the broader trading ecosystem. šClient Relationship Management and Business Development: Collaborate with the Institutional Sales and Trading teams to cultivate and maintain relationships with institutional clients, and other stakeholders. šDrive business expansion within the institutional segment. šWork alongside other Kraken traders and cryptocurrency researchers to enhance market knowledge and expertise.
Skills you should HODL
šTrading Product Leadership Experience: 5+ years in product, trading or technical leadership roles with experience driving end-to-end development of institutional-grade platforms (Prime brokerage, electronic trading, or similar). šClient-Centric Thinking: Proven ability to translate institutional client needs into intuitive, scalable product solutions. Ability to drive the long-term growth of the Prime platform through strategic planning, business development, and the optimization of trading operations. šExpert in Flow trading, Execution, and Risk: Deep understanding of trade execution, market structure, multivenue execution, pricing models, and risk management. Ability to bridge trading concepts into technical product requirements. šQuantitative and Analytical Expertise: Strong quantitative and analytical skills; familiarity with financial markets modeling and complex trading systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
