Marathon Digital Holdings is focused on securing and supporting the development of the Bitcoin ecosystem by building one of the largest, most agile, and most sustainable bitcoin mining operations in the world. Weāre growing ā quickly. At the start of 2021, we were operating 2,060 miners that were producing 0.2 EH/s. By Mid 2023, we expect to have deployed approximately 199,000 miners producing approximately 23.3 EH/s, potentially representing 7% of the total network according to some estimates (source). Additionally, our objective is for our mining operations to be 100% carbon neutral by the end of this year. Job Summary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
šOversee day-to-day operations of the Bitcoin mining facility, ensuring efficiency and optimal performance. šManage facility maintenance, including power systems, cooling infrastructure, and security protocols. šCollaborate with IT and engineering teams to optimize mining hardware deployment and maintenance schedules. šMonitor energy consumption and implement strategies to maximize cost-effectiveness. šDevelop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. šCoordinate with suppliers and vendors for equipment procurement and maintenance services. šImplement and improve operational procedures to enhance overall facility performance. šConduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential issues promptly. šManage a team of operations staff, providing leadership and guidance. šStay informed about industry trends and technological advancements to propose relevant updates. šOn call during emergencies. šEnsure the site is staffed and operating at all times possible. šSet and review KPIs for site performance. šTravel is required. šMaintain a site with high morale.

šA minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a critical infrastructure environment, preferably in cryptocurrency mining. šStrong understanding of Bitcoin mining hardware, power distribution, and cooling systems. šKnowledge of electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. šExcellent organizational and leadership skills to manage a dynamic work environment. šFamiliarity with safety regulations and protocols. šEffective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. šAbility to adapt to evolving technologies and industry standards.
