Job Summary
What Will You Be Doing?
šAPI Sales: Own the API new client sales revenue by driving individual sales and guiding the team to consistently meet or exceed targets through new client acquisition and revenue growth. Lead consultative sales by understanding client needs and providing strategic guidance on API usage, integration, and product fit. Negotiate and secure contracts that align with both client and CoinGecko business objectives. šRevenue Growth: Lead revenue growth by expanding clientsā API usage and plans. Collaborate with the Product team in introducing new API endpoints and features, and in maximizing the adoption of existing API to drive customer value and increase recurring revenue. šSales Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of a data-driven sales strategy aligned with company goals. Refine pricing models, go-to-market strategies, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities. šSales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts through rigorous pipeline analysis. Actively monitor pipeline health and conversion metrics to track performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded, and inform business planning. šLead Generation: Drive and guide the team in sourcing new business and developing acquisition strategies. Ensure effective lead generation, qualification, and CRM management, while collaborating with the Growth team to maintain consistent marketing messaging.
What We Look For In You:
šProven Ability: You have 5-8 years of experience in Enterprise SaaS sales and consistently exceeding targets, ideally in startups or fintech. You have strong technical sales expertise, comfortable engaging with CTOs, Product Managers, and engineers. You have experience executing a sales roadmap (strategy, targets, forecasts, OKRs) 12-18 months ahead. You have successfully led and coached a small sales team, driving technical expertise, execution, and goal alignment. šEducation: Bachelorās degree in marketing, business, or related field is a plus.
