Job Summary
Your Core Responsibilities:
📍Perform the Risk Control Self-Assessments through analyzing potential impact and likelihood of risk events in close collaboration with all departments
📍Manage the Key Control Framework process ensuring effective testing and continuous evaluation of controls
📍Keep up with and provide guidance on the latest regulatory requirements on operational risk management
📍Improve and document our Operational Risk Framework by enhancing its effectiveness while maintaining simplicity and actionability
📍Ensuring global alignment and collaborating with other Operational Risk Managers globally to achieve these goals
📍Conduct the annual Internal Capital Adequacy and Risk Assessment Process (ICARAP) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) process and testing
📍Support the Operational Incident management process and strengthen actionable reporting on trends and insights
Your Skills and Experience:
📍2 to 7 years of relevant work experience in operational risk management ideally in the proprietary trading industry 📍Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills 📍Ability to communicate complex information and ideas to key business stakeholders 📍Self-starter, proactive attitude and an out-of-the-box thinker 📍Solid understanding of operational risk frameworks and internal operational controls 📍Knowledge and experience in financial market regulations for operational risk management 📍A genuine interest in financial markets, risk, trading and technology 📍An academic background in a relevant field (such as Economics, Finance or STEM)
