Job Summary
Responsibilities
đź“ŤOwn functional, regression, and acceptance testing of web applications. Testing layout, interface usability, and looking for user experience improvements. đź“ŤParticipate in the software development life cycle from beginning to end. đź“ŤCreate and execute test plans for existing products and features. đź“ŤWork with development teams to define testing protocols for new features as they are designed and developed. đź“ŤProvide additional cross-functional test support for other team members đź“ŤDevelop test scenarios from requirements and ensure maximum requirement traceability. đź“ŤProviding detailed bug reports to the Engineering Team using JIRA. Liaise with internal teams (e.g. Developers, QA Lead, and Product Managers) to identify system requirements đź“ŤMonitor debugging process results đź“ŤInvestigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions đź“ŤTrack quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts đź“ŤStay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies đź“ŤOther tasks may be assigned
Requirements
đź“ŤBachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience. đź“ŤExperience in automation testing using Cypress, JMeter, Postman, or Selenium is an advantage đź“ŤExperience working on web protocols and data formats such as HTTPS and JSON. đź“ŤExperience testing cloud APIs. đź“ŤGood understanding of common UI/UX principles, paradigms, and user journeys. đź“ŤKnowledge of testing automation frameworks and software đź“ŤBasic knowledge of integrating test automation in CI/CD pipelines
