Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced technical specialist who has previously worked with a range of business systems, and enjoys working with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will be taking a player-coach position in a team of mobile developers, in order to adopt organisation development life cycle practices and standards.

You will be collaborating with product delivery managers, quality assurance, designers, product strategists and data specialists, to understand the project needs and requirements of a new large-scale social community platform.

YOU WILL NEED

● Live product development experience, strong technical skills and will be used to working within a cross-functional team.

● Minimum 6 years of experience in iOS app development field

● Experience working within the front-end work stream of a team delivering an early stage platform and a proven track record in delivering to high standards within your technical expertise and experience.

Acting as a "servant leader" you will be overseeing the process of development lifecycle making it efficient as possible.

KEY TECH RESPONSIBILITIES

● Building iOS app and integrating into third party API's. Work together with architects from other teams to integrate your applications in the complete solution

● Coach and motivate the members of development team in order to ensure development standards are followed and practices adopted.

● Dividing and delegating tasks to the right employees. Also by recognising the advantages and disadvantages of the newly-met people quickly

● Leading by example. Ie. introducing tools and practices by rolling out small POC's and knowledge transfer sessions.

KEY PROCESS RESPONSIBILITIES

● Facilitating organisational and communication challenge's by resolving blockers and connecting the right people in the right time.

● Lead scrum ceremonies such as: daily stand-ups, sprint planning and grooming sessions, retrospectives.

● Oversee the development process and make it as efficient as possible according to the pre set goals and metrics.

● Contributing to building our informative workspace by ensuring delivery data captured and status of work is visible.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

● A strong background in iOS development and Apples core libraries.

● Good background in building quality in through various iOS testing strategies.

● Practical approach to declarative development with SwiftUI

● Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.

● Experience in mobile app distribution processes.

IT WILL BE A BIG PLUS IF YOU HAVE

● Familiar with XP ( Extreme Programming )

● Scrum Master certification ( PSM1 )
