What you’ll do

📍Provide strategic direction and mentorship fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across the engineering function 📍Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with the Tezos Roadmap and objectives 📍Champion delivery focus and general operational and executional excellence whilst being rigorously customer centric 📍Stay on top of emerging technologies and trends within the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, selecting technologies and tools to optimise performance and scalability 📍Collaborate closely with other senior leaders including Product, Marketing and Commercial to foster strong cross-functional partnerships in the delivery of high-quality solutions 📍Establish and enforce data-driven quality standards and best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and performance monitoring 📍Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise development processes, tools, and methodologies. 📍Own the management of resources, budgets, and timelines effectively

What you’ll need

📍Strong technical background with extensive experience as a software engineer building complex solutions 📍Proven track record of success as a manager of managers 📍Experience leading large scale complex projects concurrently with the ability to prioritise effectively and deliver high quality solutions within deadlines 📍Prior experience working with Blockchain technology or an in depth interest/understanding of it 📍Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of the senior leadership team
