Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:

📍Lead and mentor two product engineering squads, driving performance and fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture. 📍Collaborate with our technical director on overall architecture directionand support the squad tech leads in the design of scalable, secure, performant software. 📍Collaborate with Product, Design, and senior leadership in defining the squad roadmap and priorities. 📍Develop leadership capabilities within your teams through continuous feedback, coaching, and professional development. 📍Champion agile practices, ensuring effective sprint planning, task allocation, and successful project delivery. 📍Implement and enhance processes, tools, and governance to maintain technical excellence and compliance across all teams.

To be successful you will have:

📍Extensive engineering experience, including experience in a leadership role overseeing multiple product-focused engineering squads. 📍A strong technical background with a comprehensive understanding of software development principles, architectures, and best practices. 📍Experience partnering with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define product roadmaps, prioritise features, and ensure that engineering efforts align with business objectives. 📍Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing long-term technical strategies that drive business growth. 📍Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
