The Nexus Project is a scientific and engineering effort bringing truth to the field of computation. Weāre enabling a new form of compute: verifiable computation, powered by open science and open-source software so it can benefit everyone. Our work aims to bring to life decades of advancements in zero-knowledge cryptography, achieved by many scientists, engineers, and mathematicians, into a single software system. Nexus raised $25M in Series A funding, co-led by Lightspeed and Pantera, with participation from Dragonfly, SV Angel, and more. Job Summary
Responsibilities
šMarket Strategy & Planning šDevelop and execute a strategic marketing plan for Korean market to drive awareness, growth, and engagement. šConduct market research and analyze competitive data to identify trends, opportunities, and insights for Nexusā products. šAlign regional strategy with Nexusā global marketing objectives, ensuring impactful, consistent brand messaging. šBrand Development & Awareness šPosition Nexus as a thought leader in Web3 and cryptography across Korea. šLocalize brand messaging, website content, and marketing materials for Korean audiences. šLead PR campaigns, event sponsorships, and community outreach to expand brand visibility. šDemand Generation & Campaign Management šDesign and implement integrated digital marketing campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention. šManage and optimize digital channels (social media, paid ads, email marketing, and SEO) specific to Korea. šCollaborate with product teams to launch and promote new features, campaigns, and services, including Nexusā zkVM and Layer-1 network. šPartnerships & Community Engagement šEstablish and manage relationships with key industry partners, thought leaders, and community stakeholders in Korea. šLead engagement initiatives, including conferences, webinars, and local meetups, to build a strong Nexus community. šPartner with developer communities, educational institutions, and ecosystem partners to foster Nexus adoption and awareness. šTeam Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration šBuild and manage a high-performing marketing team for the Korean region. šWork closely with Nexusā global marketing, product, and partnerships teams to align strategies, share insights, and leverage resources effectively.
Requirements
šExperience: 10+ years in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior role focused on the Korean markets. Experience in Web3, blockchain, or technology is highly preferred. šMarket Knowledge: Deep understanding of Korea's digital landscape, consumer behavior, and marketing trends. šProven track record in brand building, demand generation, and digital marketing, with expertise in social media, SEO, email, and paid channels. šLeadership: Strong experience managing teams and collaborating with global, cross-functional teams. šLanguage: Fluency in English is required.
