Job Summary
What will you be bringing to the team?

For the Database Administrator position we expect you to: šDesign, install, configure, and maintain database systems, ensuring high availability and performance. šMonitor and optimize database performance for tuning and performance enhancements. šDevelop backup and recovery strategies, conducting regular tests to ensure data integrity. šImplement security measures to safeguard data from unauthorized access. šWork on database migrations and upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss. šAssist in troubleshooting database issues and resolve incidents in a timely manner. šCollaborate with application developers to optimize database interactions and queries. šDocument database configurations, processes, and changes for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
šWhat do you need to succeed in this position? šYour experience, skill set and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward. We would like you to have: šA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. šA Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Database Administrator (DBA). šDeep knowledge of database technologies , mainly SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. šFamiliarity with cloud database solutions (Azure) Administration, Monitoring and Connectivity . šExperience in database performance tuning and optimization. šSolid understanding of data security principles and backup/recovery methodologies. šProficiency in SQL and experience with stored procedures, triggers, and database schemas.
