For the Database Administrator position we expect you to: šŸ“Design, install, configure, and maintain database systems, ensuring high availability and performance. šŸ“Monitor and optimize database performance for tuning and performance enhancements. šŸ“Develop backup and recovery strategies, conducting regular tests to ensure data integrity. šŸ“Implement security measures to safeguard data from unauthorized access. šŸ“Work on database migrations and upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss. šŸ“Assist in troubleshooting database issues and resolve incidents in a timely manner. šŸ“Collaborate with application developers to optimize database interactions and queries. šŸ“Document database configurations, processes, and changes for knowledge sharing.

Requirements

šŸ“What do you need to succeed in this position? šŸ“Your experience, skill set and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward. We would like you to have: šŸ“A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. šŸ“A Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Database Administrator (DBA). šŸ“Deep knowledge of database technologies , mainly SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. šŸ“Familiarity with cloud database solutions (Azure) Administration, Monitoring and Connectivity . šŸ“Experience in database performance tuning and optimization. šŸ“Solid understanding of data security principles and backup/recovery methodologies. šŸ“Proficiency in SQL and experience with stored procedures, triggers, and database schemas.
