Key Responsibilities

📍Produce, manage and deliver cryptographic plans to ensure all necessary preparation and execution of tasks and dependencies are met. 📍The ongoing management of those plans to achieve the delivery goals. 📍Comply with organisational frameworks, ensuring adherence to current policies, specifically relating to the management, control, handing and distribution of Defence Cryptographic items. 📍The effective engagement with key stakeholders (including units, Front Line Commands, Cryptographic Services for Defence and UK National Distribution Agency) to manage the ordering (initial and continuation) of required equipment (hardware and keymat) and ensuring the adequately controlled deployment of crypto related assets for all aspects of the programme. 📍Project manage all aspects of assigned work packages. 📍To work with key stakeholders to manage the deployment of all assigned aspects of the project assigned and to identify and mitigate potential risks for delivery of products. 📍The production and maintenance of a detailed programme crypto management plan, capable of supporting all aspects of the delivered programme and assets. The development of stakeholder relationship with suppliers; including preparation of joint plans; proposals and any associated design and build documentation. 📍Preparation of Business and/or Commitment Cases necessary to support any crypto expenditure. 📍The completion of high-level plans through transition to live service delivery and operation. 📍The identification and implementation of continual service improvement activities regarding the cryptographic laydown and maintenance of knowledge of industry cryptographic standards.

Essential Experience & Skills

📍Experience in a cryptographic management environment. 📍Project management experience – Agile preferable. 📍Experience of cryptographic capacity management, including demand management. 📍Knowledge of the CAPS process and processes around the procurement of cryptographic devices from suppliers. 📍Experience of the principles of a Crypto Net Controller. 📍Experience of governance and risk control frameworks. 📍Good communication skills, with ability to adapt to uncertainties and changing priorities.
