Job Summary

What you’ll do

📍Design, implement, and manage compliance programs to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies 📍Stay updated with regulations and industry standards changes 📍Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and develop strategies to mitigate risks 📍Implement risk management procedures to address identified compliance risks 📍Conduct training sessions for employees to raise awareness of compliance policies, procedures, and ethical standards 📍Prepare regular reports for management and regulatory bodies detailing compliance activities, issues, and recommendations for improvements 📍Develop and implement corrective actions and solutions to address compliance violations or issues 📍Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment of compliance procedures with operational processes 📍Act as a liaison with external regulatory agencies and auditors, facilitating audits and ensuring all compliance requirements are met

WHO YOU ARE

📍Experience (5+ years) working in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably within blockchain and/or payment industries 📍Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP) are advantageous 📍Knowledge of AML regulations and payment services legislation within the banking/financial services industry 📍Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. 📍Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail 📍Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate across various levels of the organization 📍Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently and as part of a team
