šRegional Leadership & Strategy šOwn Binanceās fiat and P2P business performance across African markets šDefine regional strategies aligned with global objectives, and translate them into actionable country-level plans šOversee business metrics such as user growth, trading volume, conversion rates, and merchant activity šAct as the key voice for the African market in internal decision-making and global planning šP2P Ecosystem Development šGuide the growth and governance of the P2P merchant network across the region šEnsure liquidity, pricing quality, operational compliance, and long-term merchant sustainability šCollaborate with global P2P teams to deploy localised product features and market-facing initiatives šMaintain platform health and trust through proactive merchant management and performance monitoring šFiat Infrastructure & Channel Expansion šIdentify and unlock local fiat on/off-ramp opportunities via PSPs, mobile wallets, and banking partners. šCoordinate with internal product, legal, compliance, and technical teams to deliver a market-ready solution.s šSupport deployment of Fiat onboarding, KYB flows, Express Zone, and other localised initiatives šBuild strong internal and external partnerships to ensure long-term channel stability and growth. šCross-functional & Regulatory Alignment šWork closely with compliance and legal teams to assess market risks and regulatory developments šHelp shape Binanceās compliance transition roadmap in key markets šCoordinate responses to local requirements while maintaining business continuity and user accessibility šTeam Leadership & Talent Development šLead and develop the Africa regional team, currently composed of experienced payment professionals šProvide structure, mentorship, and accountability across markets šIdentify capability gaps (especially on the P2P side) and actively drive hiring and upskilling šFoster a performance-driven, collaborative, and ownership-led culture
Requirements
š12+ years of experience, and 8+ years in crypto, fintech, payments, marketplaces, or adjacent sectors šDemonstrated experience owning business strategy and execution across multiple countries or regions šStrong understanding of crypto ecosystems šExperience working in or across African markets is essential; understanding the local context is critical. šExcellent cross-functional collaboration, project management, and communication skills
