You will:

📍Record and Reconcile daily on-chain and off-chain transactions with internal accounting systems. 📍Reconcile bank accounts and Wallets for accuracy. 📍Monitor and calculate gains/losses for cryptocurrency holdings. 📍Process vendor payments and invoices, track receivables and manage collections. 📍Support accurate and timely payroll processing for employees and contractors, including any crypto payment components, ensuring proper authorisation and documentation. 📍Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards. 📍Assist in creating budgets and forecasting financial performance, analysing variances as needed. 📍Stay updated on local and international cryptocurrency regulations and ensure compliance. 📍Collaborate with external advisors on annual reporting/fillings. 📍Collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline financial and accounting workflows. 📍Provide insights into the financial implications of crypto and fiat operations to inform business decisions. 📍Support audits by preparing detailed documentation on both fiat and crypto-related transactions.

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

📍A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 📍Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred but not mandatory. 📍3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with exposure to both traditional accounting and cryptocurrency operations preferred. 📍Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) 📍Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. 📍Knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency tax rules, and wallet operations.
