Job Summary
What you'll be doing:
šOnboarding and offboarding: handle all onboarding requests for new hires as well as offboarding for departing employees. šBenefits administration: assist the Director of HR with open enrollment and employee inquiries. šLeave administration: administer FLMA, PFL, parental leave, etc. šPerformance management: assist with the planning for performance management cycles. šPayroll: assist when needed and act as a backup for payroll processing. šCompliance: proactive approach to staying up to date on HR processes and multi-state compliance items. šImmigration: Manage all immigration issues (visa and green card sponsorship, visa requests, etc.) šMaintain Org charts in real time. šAssist with various HR projects as needed. šEmployee relations: help foster a positive work environment. Able to address employee concerns appropriately. šAble to work out of our SF office 3 days per week.
Qualifications:
šRelevant experience in HR; bachelorās degree in HR or HR certification a huge plus šMeaningful 3+ years in an HR support role at a start-up or fast-growing company šExcellent interpersonal skills šExceptional communication skills; both written and verbal šSupremely organized and detail-oriented šExceptional project management skills; ability to drive projects from conception to completion. šAbility to independently prioritize workload; demonstrates initiative and manages multiple, competing priorities with attention to detail. šCapable of balancing both the strategic and operational; can flex between a strategic approach and effective delivery and execution šProficiency in Mac and Google applications especially with Sheets, Slides, and Docs šHas strong business and HR acumen; demonstration of consulting and problem diagnosis skills
