Job Summary
What You’ll Do
📍Onboarding & Off-boarding: Ensure a positive experience for new hires and a smooth transition for departing employees. 📍Benefits Administration: Support local benefits programs, assist employees with inquiries, and facilitate enrollment processes. 📍Leave Management: Handle leave requests in compliance with Romanian labor laws while ensuring employees feel supported. 📍Performance Management: Contribute to the planning and execution of performance review and promotion cycles; provide guidance to managers on team development. 📍Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, addressing employee concerns with care and professionalism. 📍Payroll Coordination: Collaborate with local payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. 📍Compliance: Stay informed about Romanian labor laws and proactively recommend updates to keep processes compliant. 📍HR Systems: Maintain and update HRIS to ensure data accuracy and support system implementations. 📍Data & Reporting: Analyze HR data to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making. 📍HR Projects: Participate in various HR initiatives to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.
What We’re Looking For
📍6+ years of experience in an HR role covering multiple functions (e.g., onboarding, compliance, performance management, employee relations), ideally in a startup or fast-growing environment. 📍Strong understanding of Romanian labor laws and HR compliance, including REGES reporting, with the ability to monitor and adapt to regulatory changes proactively. 📍Experience managing HRIS systems and generating data-driven insights to support decision-making. 📍Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 📍Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information. 📍Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results. 📍Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, including experience collaborating with leadership to improve HR processes. 📍Curious, eager to learn, and proactive about improving processes and systems. 📍Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Mac systems. Bonus: Experience with HR tools like Lattice, Deel or Tilt is a plus. 📍English language proficiency is a must
