Job Summary
About the Opportunity:
šWork with directly with the Global Workplace Manager on priorities and projects on a weekly basis šAssist with Office Manager responsibilities at all of our Germany locations (Erlangen, Berlin, & Munich) šManage office vendors such as food services, cleaning providers, and snack/beverage vendors to ensure the office is well stocked and kept in immaculate condition šBe a liaison for visiting teams to the office - providing assistance so they are setup with all necessary systems and service for success šAssist the Global Workplace Manager with office relocations and the opening of new workplaces when needed šProvide assistance for company wide events and leadership offsites šOwn the budget for the office operations and vendors tied to each location within Germany šWelcome visitors & assist with onsite interviews (candidates, press, and VIP guests) šHelp with new hire onboarding by providing a welcoming experience and ensuring they have a proper desk setup. šDevelop and maintain workplace activities and events šProvide the team with excellent customer service and prioritize all daily requests šEnsure all office related repairs are taken care of in a time efficient manner šArrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g. heating system, alarms, security cameras) šReport any IT related issues to the team through support tickets and following through to ensure the job is completed šEnsure all compliance with local health and safety regulations šAiding the wider workplace team, assisting with the execution of team objectives. šOther duties that are deemed appropriate for the role at managers discretion
About You:
šPrevious experience in a dynamic startup environment šWillingness to travel šGreat Customer facing skills šEvent planning experience šStrategic thinker with an analytical mind šAbility to operate calmly under pressure and manage competing priorities šStrong personal awareness šStrong communication skills (oral/written) šStrong relationship management skills šUnderstanding of continuous improvement methodologies šEnglish and German speaker
