šCollaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize metrics for the dashboard. šBuild logic to calculate metrics such as transaction volume, total value secured, and staking activity. šDesign and maintain ETL pipelines to process blockchain data and ensure seamless delivery to the dashboard. šEnsure high data quality and timeliness through monitoring, validation, and debugging processes. šProvide insights into blockchain-specific metrics, differentiating between concepts such as transaction volume vs. locked value and understanding diverse protocol types (e.g., perpetuals vs. lending protocols). šAct as a subject matter expert in blockchain data, helping teams interpret the difference between decentralized applications (Dapps) and smart contracts. Partnering with GTM and Marketing which makes understanding metrics and blockchain is important.
Requirements
šProven experience in data engineering, with expertise in ETL processes, cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS), and tools like Apache Airflow, SQL, and Python. šStrong knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, including smart contracts, decentralized applications, and protocol types. šFamiliarity with Web3 metrics, such as transaction volume, TVL (Total Value Locked), staking, and protocol usage data. šExcellent ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, including data science, product, and engineering. šPassion for Web3, blockchain, and decentralized ecosystems.
