Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES:
šData preparation and coordination with external service providers for preparation of both direct and indirect tax returns as well as month-end financial reporting activities šEnsure that existing jurisdictions in which Starlink has operations are compliant with local tax requirements and e-invoicing requirements šCollaborate and partner with cross-functional teams (operations, commercial, legal, customs, treasury, accounting, finance) and other stakeholders to build a strong network across these departments and with external resources to ensure compliance with local legislation šCoordinate tax payments, including monitoring payment dates, calculating correct payment amounts, and ensuring payments are properly recorded in the books šAssist with maintaining tax records, legal agreements, customs, and transfer pricing documentation šAssist with notices/audits received from various taxing authorities šProvide support as needed on ad hoc projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
šBachelor's degree š5+ years of combined tax experience in public accounting and/or large multinational
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
šBachelor's degree in accounting or tax šPrior experience at Big 4 accounting firm or multinational companies šPrior experience dealing with e-invoicing environment and VAT French, Spanish or Portuguese fluency šData analytics skills, knowledge of OneSource, Alteryx, SQL šDetail-oriented, organized, and efficient in work processes šAbility to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently
