Job Summary
What You’ll Do:
📍Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure for our proof-of-stake validators, Bitcoin mining support, and custody solutions 📍Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in infrastructure, monitoring, and incident response 📍Implement monitoring and observability tools to ensure the health, performance, and stability of our blockchain infrastructure 📍Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, scaling, and recovery processes. 📍Assist the Bitcoin mining team with the setup and management of cloud components, VMWare, and other virtualization technologies 📍Implement and maintain security best practices across all aspects of our infrastructure, including access controls, encryption, and network security 📍Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the continued reliability and uptime of our services 📍Continuously research and stay up-to-date with emerging trends in the web3/blockchain space
What We’re Looking For:
📍Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 📍Minimum of 5 years of experience in SRE/DevOps, with a focus on web3/blockchain technologies 📍Experience administering Ethereum or Solana infrastructure 📍Deep understanding of proof-of-stake consensus mechanisms and experience managing validators 📍Familiarity with Bitcoin mining operations and supporting infrastructure 📍Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies (VMWare, KVM, Docker) 📍Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef) 📍Strong experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) 📍Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, access control, and network security 📍Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills 📍Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
