Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
šSales & Community Building šIdentify and onboard new prospective retail clients, focusing on expanding BitMEX communities locally. Key objectives include increasing trading activity, revenue and market share šConduct comprehensive market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Develop go-to-market plans to drive growth in retail users, trade volume and sales šRegularly monitor and break down sales targets to ensure they are met šDevelop and implement a community engagement strategy, with a specific markets including but not limited to English, Spanish and Russian speakers šCultivate relationships with existing and potential customers across various channels, including social media, affiliates, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other relevant platforms šSupport Content Creation šPartner with marketing to create compelling and relevant content that resonates with the community and aligns with the company's messaging and goals. šManage content calendars, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across all community channels šPartner with relevant channels to spread awareness on BitMEX products and offerings šCustomer Support šAct as a bridge between the community and the customer support team, ensuring timely resolution of issues and concerns šIdentify and mobilize community advocates to enhance brand loyalty and drive positive word-of-mouth šData Analysis and Reporting šMonitor community engagement metrics and provide regular reports on key performance indicators šUtilize data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in both community engagement and sales š Events šPlan and execute virtual and in-person events, webinars, and other community gatherings to foster a sense of belonging and drive sales leads šCollaboration with other teams šWork closely with the marketing team to align community initiatives with broader marketing campaigns and strategies šWork closely with the Products team to provide real-time feedback from the sales team and clients, contributing to the development of new products and features šWork closely with the Partner & Affiliate team to grow and manage (local) Affiliate & Partner network and support to find the right partner
Qualifications
šExperience engaging with clients and strong know-how of the Crypto industry šMinimum of 4 years of in-depth understanding of the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology, and related financial products šAt least 10 years of overall experience is a sale, business development or growth position, where you have a track record in revenue generation šDemonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies šA trader yourself with a solid track record of personal trading in the crypto derivatives market, demonstrating a deep understanding of trading strategies and market dynamics šStrong understanding of digital currencies and passionate about the space šA deep passion for the cryptocurrency industry and a commitment to staying informed about its developments šAn entrepreneurial mentality with the ability to work well under pressure, thrive working under limited direction, and a strong sense of personal accountability and ownership šMust be comfortable with networking šBusiness proficiency in English and ideally a second language šA good team player with strong interpersonal skills šProficiency with standard business end user computing applications and social media šCandidate with less experience will be considered as Sales & Community Manager
